SACRAMENTO OBSERVER: DATA REPORTER
As a data reporter, I researched and pitched my own ideas, analyzed data that I sourced and wrote long-from stories. I'm proud of how I tackled complex subject matter and broke it down for readers in an understandable way. I developed skills like the ability to use Census data, make information requests and use DB Browser for SQLite.

KSHB 41: DIGITAL PRODUCER
As a digital producer, I ran social media projects, wrote breaking news and had the ability to work on several long-form projects. Among those projects were multiple podcasts, including my own original reporting.

MISSOURI BUSINESS ALERT: PODCAST REPORTER AND HOST
I started at this publication during a summer internship that turned into a paid position. I wrote, hosted and reported for the podcast Speaking Startup, which published once a week. In addition to the podcast, I have also reported feature pieces and written for the daily newsletter.
August 2020 - May 2021
KBIA: REPORTER
I worked at this NPR affiliate station in Columbia, Missouri, as part of a multimedia producing class. For KBIA I covered the 2020 election, reported two longer form feature pieces, hosted Tuesday afternoon newscasts and reported two projects for Missouri Health Talks.
Fall 2019 & Fall 2020
CONVERGENCE NEWS ROOM: REPORTER, PRODUCER
In my first semester I worked as a reporter on five multimedia packages, which included text, audio/video, social and photo elements. In my second semester, I worked as a producer that helped lead four reporting teams while they put together their stories, and reported two installments for a series with the Missouri Business Alert.
January 2020 - May 2020
POLITICO EUROPE: PRODUCTION INTERN
As part of my study abroad experience I landed an internship at Politico Europe. While there, I managed all the social media platforms, amounting to hundreds of tweets and Facebook posts that include live posts and threads. I also helped design pages for the newspaper, put together a data story that was published, managed an online calendar and prepared articles to be published.
