SOCIAL MEDIA
When I worked in Belgium for Politico Europe, I managed their social media, amounting to hundreds of tweets and Facebook posts (and was once retweeted by Greta Thunberg!). For The Missouri Review, I managed their twitter and created graphics to go up on the site, such as these quote cards and these maps. Now, I consistently work on special social media projects as part of my job as a digital producer.

Since high school I have worked with video to create packages. Two of my favorite projects were for social media. One was about finance and savings, and is linked here. Another was about race walking, the Olympic sport, and can be found here.
PRODUCING
For the past year I've worked in production at KSHB 41 in Kansas City. While there, I've honed my AP style skills, learned a ton about SEO and written substantial amount of breaking news. Being a producer has helped me think not just about the various, necessary parts of a story, but also the best way to package it.
NEWSPAPER DESIGN, WRITING STYLES
While in Belgium, I also helped design newspaper pages for Politico Europe's print edition. The Pro Briefing is an example of a page I helped create every week. And, I have other experience writing different kinds of news. For the Missouri Business Alert, twice a week since the summer I have written portions of the daily news letter, the Morning Minutes.
